Hello, my name is Dou and I will tell you about my favorite book. The name of the book is The Great Big Turnip. I like this book because it is fun. 

 

One day a farmer wanted to eat a big turnip that was growing in the ground. 

He wanted to pull it up but it was too big. He pulled and pulled but the turnip didn't move.

 

He asked his wife for help but they still couldn’t pull the turnip up so he asked the animals on the farm for help. There were eight animals that helped the farmer to pull it out. They pulled and pulled and, finally, the turnip came up. 

 

The farmer was very happy and invited all the animals to dinner. They all had  dinner together and shared the turnip.

 

I like that they had dinner together after they worked very hard.
