"Train To Busan" by Nicky Lee

Hello my name is Nicky. I want to tell you about my favorite movie, "Train to Busan". It is an interesting and exciting movie. The movie, "Train to Busan", is a zombie action movie. Gong Yu and his daughter live in Seoul. His daughter, Su An, wants to visit her mother in Busan because her parents are divorced. They plan to go to Busan by KTX, this is the Korean express train. They do not know the risk they are taking by traveling on the KTX, because the government has not told the Korean people that zombies are beginning to spread in Korea. Instead, they are lying to the Korean people and trying to tell them that the zombies are merely violent people. The government wants to abandon the Korean people and escape before everyone begins to panic. Gong Yu and Su An got on the KTX, and so did one zombie. This zombie starts to attack people on the train. After he bites the people they become zombies too. Gong Yu and his daughter want to live. Busan is safe because the army killed the zombies and made a barigade around Busan. But finally Gong Yu gets attacked by a zombie so he jumps off the train to kill himself, because he wants to protect Su An.   

This movie is the first Korean zombie action movie. There are many aspects of the movie that I really like. First, the storyline is interesting because there is a lot of information that is critical of the government. I like that because it makes the movie more controversial. I also like how heroic the father is. When he defends his daughter it is very impressive. In the part at Daygo Station the train explodes and zombies come out, this part had amazing special effects. The zombies faces also look very real so it makes the movie feel more realistic and scary. However, one of the parts I dont like about this movie is when the dad kills himself. It was a very sad part of the movie becase his daughter was crying and crying. This movie has an interesting way of portraying the strength of love for one's family. Gong Yu loves his daughter so much that he will protect her even if it means sacrificing himself. The love of family is something everyone can relate to. I think this movie was so good that it will cause Korea's movie industry to develop many more high quality movies.
