In her small room, Raven was sleeping. There were many mirrors beside her with masks on a side table below. The only light sources were a candle and the sun. She slept in bed until the first sunlight hit her face. Raven woke up and combed her purple shoulder-length hair. The jewel on her forehead was shining bright red.

Raven was about to put on her blue cloak but she noticed it was gone! First she thought this was one of Beast Boy's jokes. Raven went to his room. "Knock." No answer. She looked in but no one was in the room. All Raven saw were many pictures. Raven could not see anything blue. At this moment, Beast Boy was brushing his green hair and his sharp fang.

Next she went to her closest friend's room. It was Starfire's room. "Knock." No answer. How strange... Raven opened the door. Inside everything was pink. She saw a pink bed in one corner and a pink table in another corner. No sign of Starfire nor her blue cloak. Meanwhile Starfire was busy baking cake. Raven felt strange but did not stop the search.

She went to Robin and Cyborg's rooms but it was of no use. Raven gave up and went to the main room. "Surprise!" The Titans were throwing her a celebration party. Raven destroyed the party decorations. "My birthday is no day to celebrate!" she yelled.

She found her blue cloak lying in the middle of the room. Raven took it with her to her room, slamming the door.

"I told you it was a bad idea to throw her a surprise party!" Robin cried.

Raven sat on her bed feeling angry. "I just want this day to stop!" she shouted. Then suddenly time stopped. Every one could not move except for her. A mysterious voice inside Raven's head said, "You stopped time but you can't stop me!"  Raven noticed that voice as the Titans' most hated enemy: Slade! Slade had returned and Raven now had to fight him on her own.

A strange birthmark suddenly appeared on Raven's arm and she gained power. But Slade was chasing after her. Raven's birthmark gave her the power of fire but Slade had the power of ice. Dodging all of Slade's ice cubes, Raven made her attack. Raven's fireball hit Slade on the arm. That should hold him up!

Then she went to the main room and called for help but it was no use. Slade caught up to her. Raven noticed one last hope. Actually a wish. All the party decorations had been destroyed except one layer of cake and a candle. Raven tricked Slade with a fireball. Then she made a wish for time to keep going and blew out the candle.

The Titans woke up. They all defeated Slade together! The Teen Titans were happy except for Raven. She knew she would have to fight Slade one day in the ultimate battle.
