Example A: 

The answers:

1. The main idea of this reading is B, "What makes the ice hotel special."

2. You can do all of the above in the hotel: a: Watch a movie, b: Get married, c: Eat an interesting meal. 

3. Sleeping at the hotel is not a problem, because the sleeping bags are warm.

4. You would find the ice plates in the restaurant of the hotel.

5. I think that it melts in the spring.

Example B: 

1. Teacher: What did you do on the weekend?

Student: I went to my grandma's house.

Longer answer: I remember what I did on the weekend. On the weekend, I went to my grandma's house. 

2. Teacher: How was the weather today in Korea?

Student: It was raining.

Teacher: The weather today in Korea was rainy.

Student: The weather today in Korea was rainy. 

The student should repeat as much as possible what the teacher says. They can use the structure of the teacher's sentences to learn how to make correct sentences in English. This is the "Immitation and Repetition" technique from English Aloud. It is good practice for both listening as well as speaking for the student.

The student can use the technique of repeating back part of the question to form a full sentence answer. If the student uses only a short answer, the teacher can show them how to make a full sentence by saying it correctly back to them in a full sentence. (Shown in Example B) 

The students can learn more quickly if the teacher encourages them and guides them to make full sentences.

Teachers should guide their student to answer questions with full sentence responses.

This can be done both when doing bookwork (Example A) as well as in conversation (Example B).
