My name is Billy-Donghum Jung. I am 12 years old, an elementary school student in grade 6. Next summer vacation, of course, I want to go fishing. You know, my new hobby is fishing. I am just a beginner, so I don’t know very much about fishing. But I often dream about going fishing and catching big fish. I love the moment when I catch a fish with a fishing rod. I should concentrate and do my best. Someone told me I loved fishing, because I was a boy. Anyway fishing is my favorite hobby, and I like to eat the fish I caught. I like sushi, and spicy fish soup.

Actually I like to go fishing in the sea, because there are many different kinds of fish. Last summer I went fishing on an island called Anmyeondo. I went there because the West Sea is the nearest sea from Seoul and because I thought a big high tide there would be good for catching a lot of fish. I am very thankful for my parents. They agreed to go fishing with me, even though they didn't like fishing so much. The fishing trip with my parents was very comfortable, my father paid for expensive food and a stay at a good hotel. My mother also took good care of me.

But sometimes I didn't feel that I was free with them. The next day, first of all, I bought a simple fishing rod with some bait for fish. I was sitting somewhere waiting for the fish to come, but there was no sign of them. The worst thing was that my rod was broken. So I had to buy a new one at the nearby store. I finally caught a real fish. It was a little big, about 20 centimeters long. I was really happy and very proud of that. At last my dream had come true. I would never forget that moment. I am very thankful to my parents, especially my father. After the trip he was very tired, because he drove so much. I am sorry but I am already dreaming about my next summer vacation.
