Things I Want to Do this Winter Vacation

This winter vacation I want to try something new, rather than staying in my house and studying or going to academies. If I don't try something new, later on there will be no time to have an adventurous vacation. I will have to study for the Korean entrance exam in high school. My brother went to the college that he wanted to go to this year, so my family will be able to do something or go somewhere this winter vacation.

I want to do many things on this list:

Buy a tree and decorate it

  • Go skiing
  • Go sledding
  • Donate money to the poor
  • Meet people dressed like Santa
  • Make ice-cream with snow and sleep in snow

First, I want to decorate a tree because I have always wanted to do it but I have never done it before in my life. This seems like an important part of any childhood. Since my family doesn't have a religion, we don't celebrate Christmas. I hope we can this year.

I want to try something new that most people don't want to do.  I want to build an igloo and sleep in snow like the Eskimos. I think I will sleep on the playground in front of my house someday. If I sleep on the playground, I will see a lot of people and maybe I can become friends with them.

Third, I want to donate money to the poor because I think it's difficult for people to live without money. I know this because when I use all of my allowance I feel sad and empty. My mom used to give me 40,000 won, but she said I ate too many snacks and decreased it to 30,000. In conclusion, if I don't succeed at doing these things I think I will regret it. I'm going to have a bet with my brother and I will earn some money. Also, I will win this contest AKA “Writing festival!”
