Last summer I went fishing with my friend Joonho. I love to go fishing. We visited an island named Jawoldo. To go there, we went to the island Daeboodo by boat first. And there we took another boat to get there. I think almost all visitors there were hobby anglers. So I felt I was a real angler. Or I should be one.

When we arrived there, the tide was ebbing. So we tried to collect clams on the beach. It was a piece of cake, because we could find them everywhere. We were happy there, but we were not satisfied with that, of course. We knew that we came there to catch fish. The tide was rising so we prepared the fishing equipment and tried to catch fish. But we were not successful at all, because there was not so much water. We were not patient enough to wait for the full tide. So we went to have dinner.

After dinner we came back, it was already dark. But we tried again to catch fish. Oh, thank God! This time we were lucky. We caught many fish. More fish than I have ever caught before, I caught about 30 fish! The moment I caught a fish I felt the vibration of the fishing rod, I had to move the rod so quickly that the fish bit the hook totally. Then I reeled the fish in. That was the moment I had always dreamed about. I think fishing is really a very exciting hobby!

We cooked the noodle soup ramen with some fish we caught. We made some sushi, too. Everything was very delicious. It was the very special experience to eat the things we did as our ancestors always did.

The next day, we could not miss any moment, we went fishing at the harbor, before the boat came. We caught many fish, too. Good things come together! I enjoyed so many moments on the island. When the boat came, I had to take it. But I will remember this island forever. I will come back again and again to my dream-island.
