JiYoon’s Winter Story

This winter is very difficult with all the girls fighting in our school.

I am in grade 2 in middle school, class group 10. My major is music. There are two groups in our school: Music major students and non music major students. The problem at our school is that almost all the students want to be music students. But only twenty percent of the students will be accepted onto the music major program. The other students are jealous of us because they failed and we succeeded.

They complain that music major students don't work hard except for playing music. Actually music major students spend a lot of time practicing and still have to do school work as the same as other students. So in reality, our lives are harder than the other students. We know other students have to study hard also.

I think this tension is very foolish. I only have non-Music major friends at school. I talked with my friend, “Music majors have to study as much as other students, and the practice time for the major is very long. Some school students already know our situation. I want my music major protegees' and peers' relationships to be very friendly.
